I have always had an interest in travel and discovering new places, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. The experience offered on a bike cannot be matched by touring in a car or bus. By seeing the countryside on two wheels, we are able to immerse ourselves in the culture, feel the wind in our face and see what village life is like as we ride through it.

REVIEWS

from our friends

This is the perfect way to dive deep into rural Vietnam. We rode many miles on narrow concrete pathways connecting villages and farms. The ferry crossing were a special treat. Not a car or truck in sight for much of the riding. The route planning was exceptional.

The logistics were perfect. The day flowed smoothly from pick-up to starting the ride to lunch stop to boat ride to demonstration of rice paper making to arrival back at the hotel. My tour guide, An, was superb. He was knowledgeable, confident, easy going. Even the half hour rain delay was an enjoyable stop with the local people.

Three friends did the 3 day Mekong Delta bike ride with Sarane our guide and Lai (hope spelling is right) our driver. It was an amazing experience. Sarane was a fantastic guide, providing lots of local knowledge and Lai was an exceptional driver. The trip was varied, with lots of great biking, boat rides as we crossed the mighty Mekong river and surrounding canals, local markets, wonderfully hospital hosts at the homestay, delicious food cooked along the way at the different cafes, experiencing the floating markets and of course the torrential rain downpour which we managed to bike through unscathed. Bikes were pretty good, don’t forget your bike pants – you’ll need them for three days! Fabulous trip – and well worth it. Thank you Sarane and Lai for making this trip so memorable.

Booking was easy and personal. We thoroughly enjoyed our Mekong Delta experience. Our guide was well informed and guaged our needs and abilities well. His knowledge added greatly to our enjoyment of the trip. We took the home stay option and found the experience of Vietnamese rural life and cooking rewarding. This contrasted pleasingly with the luxury of the modern hotel in Can Tho. The bikes were new and the support van comfortable. The positives were many; the choice of stops for refreshments and lunches, the selected places of interest, the cheerful and helpful disposition of our guide and driver, the attractiveness of the chosen route. The negatives? Nothing really. A good experience with a well organised company which tailored the trip successfully to our needs.

You have seen the Mekong unless you’ve travelled on a bike….AMAZING!

We did a private six adult bike tour with our guide and it was simply superb! The passenger coach was comfortable, clean and our driver excellent…..we felt in good hands at all times….Our guide Phuc was simply exceptional, spoke excellent English…. we would highly recommend him and company. We felt as if we were their family….a wonderful special holiday!

We enjoyed the tour in all moments! The provided bikes fitted excellent for us and our tour guide leaded us easily through the small paths in the beautiful landscape. We crossed many small bridges, towns, rice fields and had delicious snacks and lunchtimes every day. The hotels were clean and comfortable. Our driver was always on time and very helpful. He prepared fresh and cold drinking water and was responsible for the bikes. We can really recommend this company and this tour! Be sure that is not our last one with you :-)
