On this day we cycle to Jodhpur along a beautiful route that, despite the barren landscape is known to support a surprising diversity of fauna. Enroute, you may spot animals like deer, black bucks, camels and blur bulls as you ride past swaying masses of yellow mustard and wheat.

After you have rested and had lunch, use this time to see the magnificent temple. A fantastic experience in the real India.

This was our first trip to India and we were a little worried about the cycling experience. As it turned out, this was a great and memorable trip. The bikes were of a very good quality and up to the challenges of the many hills and varied terrain of Rajasthan. Our guide, Bupendra, was really great. He made sure we got to see the real India and have lots of opportunity to interact with locals. He even took us to a couple of places for street food, assuring us that we would not get Delhi belly. He was absolutely correct and we had some very tasty lunches on those occasions. We stayed at several Heritage hotels, which turned out to be incredibly amazing palaces. Art of Bicycle did a fantastic job in organizing this trip and planning a very relaxed, informative and unique experience. This was truly a trip for the bucket list!

It was by far the best vacation that we have ever been on in India. Every aspect of the trip had been taken care of carefully from the accommodations, to the quality of guides to the bike routes. Soon we will come back for more tours.

Thank you so much for organising our 5 day ‘self guided’ trip from Udaipur to Jodphur. It was such a relaxing way to enjoy the sights of rural India receiving countless waves and greetings along the way We were impressed by the quality of the bikes and the mostly excellent road surfaces making the cycling a pleasure. Our driver followed a short distance behind us and was always there when we needed him (punctures, snacks, directions). We arrived at the hotels most days by 2:30 p.m giving us time to enjoy any near by sites (forts, temples) and/or just relax by the pool enjoying the surroundings. Our only regret was that the trip was too short, so we will be back soon!
