Having undergone the rigmarole of meeting rooms and pie charts, Pankaj savors nothing but hot cups of tea and some local gossip with villagers in faraway places. The last many years have been largely on his set of wheels, since he set out to explore his own bizarre country - the long bumpy rides, traversing miles of isolated roads and sharing stories with strangers has been absolutely worth it!
After six years, Dibin was happy to leave Dubai’s clinically clean environs and come right back to exploring the wonderfully unkempt and thickly green landscape of good old Kerala on his cycle. Amongst the diverse Kerala experiences, Dibin loves the traditional cuisines and organic farming methods the most! If he’s not scouring through the Kerala trails, you will find him hooked to movies with an intellectual tug; Into the Wild is his favourite! Oh not to forget he has cycled from Bangalore to Ladakh in one month.
Being a theatre artist for more than 15 years, Shruti started out her career as a Radio Jockey, and has spent the last 10 years of her life as a creative professional in the media industry (Radio Stations, mostly). Her love for talking to new people and understanding their perspective about life (and everything else) got her to join the tourism industry since there’s nothing like the love of exploring something new - be it a person, a culture, or an unexplored city.
Qutub is the youngest in our team of riders. He hails from Udaipur and is incharge of our Udaipur operations. If you are doing a tour in Udaipur then you are most likely to meet him guiding your tour or at our Udaipur shop. Easy to talk with and ride along.
Sajeeb is from the famous old port city in Kerala, ‘Fort Kochi’. He drives tuk-tuk for a living and also takes tourists on tuk-tuk tours around Kochi. Sajeeb was into multiple jobs before, which included working in godowns as loading/unloading worker, store keeping at the wholesale shops, unloading fishes from fishing boats, blending tea leaves at tea storehouses. Being from Fort Kochi, Sajeeb knows the nook and corner of this old city and is always happy to take you to his favourite biriyani place. An avid pigeon fancier during his teenage, Sajeeb was active at pigeon race events in Kochi.
I have always had an interest in travel and discovering new places, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. The experience offered on a bike cannot be matched by touring in a car or bus. By seeing the countryside on two wheels, we are able to immerse ourselves in the culture, feel the wind in our face and see what village life is like as we ride through it.
Pradeep is a self-proclaimed travelholic! He has traversed most states of India (on a cycle or otherwise) and has a keen eye to pick out the best restaurants, small eating joints and things on and off the map! Your stomach is sure to be in ‘adventurous’ hands when travelling with Pradeep. And if you are stuck without a restaurant in sight, be sure that Pradeep can conjure up something wicked himself. His gastronomical expertise spreads across to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia as well. The elusive land of Tibet is next on his list to explore!
Muthu, a native of Bengaluru, Karnataka, studied and grew up in the Silicon Valley of India and knows the city like the back of his hand. Muthu is a lover of adventure sports and naturally gravitates towards an active lifestyle. Like most of his fellow Bangloreans, he is an avid cricket fan and is always game for an impromptu match that one might stumble upon, strolling through any of the numerous parks in the cricket crazy city.
Poonacha Cariappa grew up in the hilly plantations of Coorg, Karnataka, far from the crowds and the noise of the new booming cities of India.
